🪞REFLECTION - it is that super special space where realizations are revealed...oh and did I mention the truth-reflective power of the mirrors?!?! We face our truths and our lies and our fears and our deepest feelings straight on.

🥑 NOURISHMENT - omg if nothing else that is what Bikram Yoga IS: Oxygen and life force delivered, because of the alternation of posture with rest...and because of the sequence itself.

🫂 CONNECTION - with my own self and with everyone else who practices - before, during, and after class. The community is incredible and empowering in every way!

🏝️ ALONE TIME - oh hell yes to no cell phones or smart watches or anyone asking you for anything! You serve yourself and your whole self and nothing but yourself for 90 minutes. (Which then gives you power for whatever is next.)

🎨 CREATION - that quiet space again where new ideas take shape effortlessly and dots get connected... because our chattering minds and anxieties and ruminations and identities have been forced to SHUT UP for a few postures 😆

The MIRACULOUS 10th anniversary of our amazing yoga school happens to have been THE SAME DAY that another part of my professional life shifted gears....AND THE SAME DAY that we migrated/upgraded our studio software system....so let's just say it was a bit of a blurry flurry of change and transition, and all I managed to do was make this little video of thanks!

Yet the gratitude in my heart is truly immense, as is the blessing of carrying on this yoga lineage...so I wanted to make sure to put this out there again!!!

Two months later, things are starting to flow less frantically and I am SO EXCITED for our continuing education weekends immersion coming up October 13-14-15 and for our members' retreat in February OMG!!!!

🍎This annual event is just one of the many ways that our lineage inspires the world and youth to a healing activity / sport that can be practiced for a lifetime!

🎖️And everyone wins. Everyone challenges each other to do their best, and it is so beautiful to be a part of, so inspiring to watch!!

🤸🏽‍♂️ All lineages of Asana practice are welcome and invited to enter each year. Everyone demonstrates a three-minute routine of six postures (there certain guidelines, etc.) which have to be held in total stillness (each) for five seconds.

After 20 years of inhaling, learning, practicing, and teaching in the Ghosh-Bikram-OriginalHotYoga lineage, it is now time to balance it out with an exhale.
SO SUPER EXCITED to announce our @originalhotyogaassociation approved yoga training, starting September 8. Part A is for everyone interested in deepening their understanding and practice, as well as continuing education for Bikram/Original Hot Yoga teachers!!
