We invite you to try your first class with us for $5.
If you bring a buddy with you for your first trial class, their class is also only $5!
Expired Passes will be honored ONLY if it is your first class with us within the past 6 months.
BASIC INFO:
All beginner classes are heated, so it is important that you prepare for class (see Step 3 below).
Mats/large towels/water are required (bring your own or rent/buy here).
Limit of one $5 trial class per person per 6 months.
Exception: You may use additional $5 passes that you received from us at the front desk, but they can only be used on or before the expiration date.
Beginner Classes are generally held at the following times:
Sunday 9:00 – 10:30 am
Monday 5:45 – 7:15 pm
Tuesday 8:30 – 10:00 am (lower temp class)
Tuesday 6:00 – 7:00 pm
Wednesday 6:00 – 7:00 pm
Thursday 8:30 – 10:00 am
Thursday 5:45 – 7:15 pm (lower temp class)
Friday 4:00 – 5:15 pm
Saturday 8:00 – 9:30 am
Step One:

Step Two:
BOOK YOUR BEGINNER CLASS ON THE SCHEDULE PAGE HERE (scroll down about half way for the schedule section).
**Bookings are only held until 5 minutes prior to class.**
Step Three:
Please HYDRATE 1-2 hours BEFORE class (20-30 ounces plain water).
Yoga of any type should be practiced on an empty stomach (3+ hours since a meal).
Bring your $5 Trial Class Card to the teacher at the front desk to redeem.

What is Yoga?
Our independently-owned, volunteer-run yoga school continues to teach traditional, Bikram method yoga classes, because they WORK!
Yoga is not another fitness fad designed to distract you with playlists or new moves. Yoga is not a stretching class (although it will reduce stiffness better than anything else).
Yoga is always a practice of postures held in stillness and is accessible to all levels of mobility.
We are not here to keep you on the never-ending loop of fast-paced…. high-tech….. next-best-thing….
Yoga is different. Yoga – honest-to-goodness YOGA from Calcutta (in our case) – is MEDICINE.
It is designed to make a permanent change in YOU: your mind, your breathing, your nervous system, your structure, your awareness, your physiology, and more.
Yoga works in a natural, non-invasive, non-pharmaceutical way.
It is extremely effective, but its effectiveness will likely never be recognized by mainstream medicine nor recognized by most.
Why not?
Because it is actively PRACTICED by YOU.
No one else can do it for you, or do it to you.
No big company profits from you participating in yoga.
(Although your career, school, and/or family life will definitely improve.) Our yoga school is completely volunteer-run and operates on a not-for-profit basis. No franchise, just us… on a mission to provide this possibility.
It requires your EFFORT.
This is not a quick-fix pill to swallow.
It CHALLENGES you.
It is the only way to create true, lasting change.
And instead of coming with along list of negative side effects….
It comes with a long list of POSITIVE ONES!
